LARARTH was established in 1994 and is owned by David & Sharon Bowen. Lararth is an affix which is effectively a brand name that differentiates our dogs and puppies from other breeders; the name Lararth was made up by using the last seven letters of our village name - LlanfihangeL-AR-ARTH.

As a show team we have been fortunate to win in excess of 60 Challenge Certificates and over 40 Reserve Challenge Certificates at Championship shows held throughout the UK including Crufts. Lararth has held the title of Top Breeders twice; in 2003 and again in 2005. The kennel has been proud to own dogs who have won the following annual National titles on more than one occasion over the last 15 years: Top Winning GSD, Top Sire, Top Stud and Top Brood Bitch.
